About the Role
Tappytoon is looking for two SNS Interns to join the Brand Growth Team, helping connect millions of readers to the stories they love. These roles will support social, community, and creator-led campaigns aimed at expanding Tappytoon's brand presence beyond the app, reaching English-speaking webtoon fans where they already are. We're looking for fast learners who can take a rough brief and run with it.
Key Responsibilities
Social Channel Management
Manage and grow Tappytoon's owned social media presence across key platforms, with a focus on engaging English-speaking webtoon fans.
Community Management
Build and nurture Tappytoon's presence in relevant fan communities, capturing audience sentiment and surfacing insights to the team.
Fandom Activation
Drive community engagement initiatives around key titles and brand moments, contributing to fandom-driven growth.
Minimum Qualifications
•
Native or Fluent English speaker
•
Strong sense of what works on social media and in content
•
Self-starter who takes initiative without waiting to be told what to do
•
Genuine interest in webtoons, comics, or related fandom culture
•
Currently enrolled students and recent graduates welcome
Preferred Qualifications
•
Intermediate Korean speaker
•
Basic or working ability to use editing tools such as Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, etc.
•
Comfortable with short-form video content creation (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, etc.)
•
Active in a fandom community yourself
•
Experience managing or contributing to social media accounts
•
Familiarity with Western social media trends and culture
